Description
Vinyl edition of the debut full-length album by the best black/death metal band from Poland – Behemoth!
This Polish black/death metal band from Gdansk was formed in 1991 as a trio, with Nergal on guitar and vocals, Baal on the drums, and Desecrator on the guitar. Until the late 1990s, the band played a traditional black metal style with heathen lyrical content, but soon changed to that of occult and thelemic themes written by their lead vocalist Nergal and Krzysztof Azarewicz. With the release of the album “Satanica” (1999), the band demonstrated their presence in the death metal scene, while retaining their own signature style characterized by the drum work of Inferno, multi-layered vocals and Middle-Eastern influences.
Behemoth’s work has been noticed worldwide with the release of their “Sventevith (Storming Near The Baltic)” album in 1995. This is a must-have for every fan of black metal. The band don’t leave any single moment to breathe. Record starts with full force with the song from east lands and pagan screams. The storming continues ruthlessly through all tracks until the culminate moment in which the band unleashes a true hell. Raw guitar sounds, keyboards and indefatigable drum force together with shrill growling, make a world-class quality black metal. Now available on vinyl!
